Marble Elegance for a Chelsea Home Kitchen

Royal Stones recently had the pleasure of working on a bespoke kitchen project in a beautiful Chelsea home. The client selected a luxurious grey-veined marble as the centrepiece material, and the results were nothing short of spectacular.

Our team crafted a stunning splashback, worktops, and a multifunctional island unit that showcased the intricate veining of the marble. The island was particularly noteworthy as it served dual purposes: one side housed a refrigerator and cabinets, while the other featured a raised bar area where guests could sit and enjoy drinks or meals. Careful attention was given to align the marble’s veining across the side panels of the island, creating a seamless, elegant effect.

We also customised the worktop by cutting precise openings for a sink and induction hob, ensuring both functionality and style. To elevate the space further, we clad the window recess with marble, giving it a cohesive and polished finish.

The flooring was another standout feature of this project. We laid marble tiles up to the edge of the island, where they transitioned seamlessly into a stunning oak wood floor installed by the client’s carpenter, flowing beautifully into the adjoining living area.

This kitchen project is a testament to how bespoke stonework can transform a home into a haven of sophistication and functionality.
